Safety Town 2014
Safety Town will be offered July 7-August 1. The one week program allows children entering Kindergarten in September to participate in fun activities about safety in their home, community, and school. Click here for additional information and to access the online registration. Kindergarten children and volunteer registration starts April 1, 2014.
Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Grades
As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L.2010, c.122), the Wayne Township Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the district's HIB webpage, and to each individual school's webpage. H.E.R.O. Week Information
Our district H.E.R.O. (Helping Everyone Respect Others) initiative emphasizing helping others and showing respect through good example is starting today! We will be recognizing Autism Awareness Day on April 17th and the week of April 21st we will continue to celebrate our H.E.R.O. initiative. For the remainder of April, JFK will focus on daily activities emphasizing tolerance and acceptance for diversity. Please click here for information on specific activities.
Pre-School Parent Training
Please join us for a preschool parent training on toileting. The session will take place on Thursday May 29, 2014 from 9:00-10:30 at Packanack School in the Media Center. The workshop will be presented by Jessica Neu, Teacher Coordinator of Student Support Services and Emilia Clancy and Samantha Hadley, Behavior Analysts. We look forward to seeing you there!
